Social Procurement

At Gearon we believe strongly in supporting external social enterprises.  We actively engage in the development of a workplace that is inclusive and supportive and strive for continual improvement in Social Procurement.

We are a partner of Yarra Contracting, a Kinaway Chamber of Commerce Certified business.

We are a business member of Social Traders and seek to procure product and services through the Social Traders, Supply Nation and Kinaway databases in support of indigenous business and social enterprises.

We have a positive and proactive attitude towards inclusion and diversity in the workforce.  We support gender equity, apprentices and cadetships, indigenous workers and disadvantaged jobseekers.  We strive to meet the needs of our current employees providing upskilling to reach work goals and support where needed for non-work-related injury and hardship.  We strongly advocate for mental health awareness.

The following polices underpin our commitment to social procurement:

  • Respectful Workplace Policy
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing Policy
